ABOUT
Zoë Sophie Bayer (1996) is a writer, script supervisor and editor from Basel, Switzerland. She gained early experience in the theatre and the German and Swiss film industry. In 2023, she graduated from the Zurich University of Arts with a major in screenwriting. Zoë works mainly as a freelance script supervisor for several movie productions in Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany.
Several graduation films, in which she was involved as script supervisor and screenwriter, were nominated at international festivals. The best known for "Remember, Broken Crayons Colour Too" directed by Ursa Kastelic, won the Documentary Short Jury Award 2024 at the SXSW South by Southwest in Austin, the Special Jury Award for Documentary Short Film 2024 at Flickerfest in Australia and the Best Student Documentary Short Winner 2024 at the International ShortFest in Palm Springs.
